Consuelo Scivoletto-Cordey, known as Consu, is an Italian songwriter, producer and composer, based in the UK. She writes for recording artists and composes music suitable for film, TV, and advertising, alongside releasing her own music featuring guest vocalists. Her music crosses genres, blending hook-driven pop with neo-classical cinematic piano. Critics praise her style for its ability to “transcend the bridge between Radio 2 and Classic FM” (This is Cornwall) and move “from edgy to soft and melodic in a heartbeat” (Bournemouth Daily Echo).
A versatile collaborator, she has co-written with Katie Rae, Gethin Pearson, and Julian Hinton — producers whose credits include Charli XCX, Massive Attack, and Rod Stewart.
Over two decades, Consu has gained recognition through Sound and Music, the US Song of the Year, and multiple BBC Introducing features, with her first Christmas mini-album (2023) achieving over 186,000 Spotify streams.
With support from Help Musicians, Consu is recording her second Christmas mini-album and two pop-rock tracks, and is open for projects as a songwriter/composer for artists, film/TV, and advertising.
